Spring Pictures

Just some updated pics of our little Lainee! She is almost 7 months old now and getting more fun every day. She has moved to crawling, although scooting still seems to be her favorite. I think she can get where she wants to be a little faster still. She climbs on everything, can pull herself up, and will walk along the couch holding on. CRAZY! I can't believe she is getting so big!
Zac is done with classes! Finally this day is here! He got promoted at the temple grounds here in Logan so we will be sticking around for awhile.
Thanks to Grammy Larsen, we got to have some fun spring pictures taken while we were in Blackfoot in March. I am just getting around to posting them, but they turned out so cute!

Week With The Family

Last week Lainee and I got to go up to Idaho to spend the week with my family while Zac was in Mexico for school. We had SO much fun!!! It was so fun to spend so much time with the grandparents. Now we are trying to "unspoil" her. We got to go to Boise to see my great aunt Alic and uncle Stan. Lainee was so good, she slept all of the way there and all of the way back (but now she hates her car seat!)
We got Lainee's pictures taken while we were up there, as soon as I get them, I will post them. They turned out so cute! My mom had to get her all ready (thanks mom!)because I was at the dentist for what we thought was a simple fix on a tooth, but turned into much more extensive dental work. But its all fixed now and much better!
Lainee changed so much in just a week. She can sit up without any support now. She also has mastered the army crawl. She would chase the dog all around my parents living room! She love the dog, but the dog wasn't her biggest fan.
It was such a fun week. Lainee had so much fun playing with her Grammy and Grandpa!
Thanks for letting us come! We love you guys so much!
Here are a few pics from the week

Update

Well, its been a little bit since we have posted, so we just thought we would give an update. We have now moved into the family ward that we live in. We were going to the married student ward previously and we just felt like it was time to move on. We really like the new ward, but we do miss some of our friends from our old ward.

Lainee is really growing and changing so much right now. She is four months old now! She has moved from yelling to blowing raspberries. For the longest time, she was only rolling from her back to her belly and then she decided she just wanted to move, so as of last Saturday, she is now a mobile girl. She rolls all the way across the floor chasing her toys, her giraffe, or her favorite- her clothes! This weekend its time to babyproof!

We had a doctors appointment about a week ago and she is doing great! The doctor said we could start feeding her rice cereal so we could start mouth training. Its been about a week and she is doing great. She really likes the spoon we feed her with so she grabs it and pulls it into her mouth. Today she actually started to eat it and swallow.

So thats what we have been up to lately! We can't wait until it is spring so that we can get out and go for walks and play outside! I am sure Lainee will enjoy it and I will too!

Lainee has found her voice!

Our sweet little one has been "talking" for quite a while now. This week she really found her voice! She loves to roll onto her belly and squeal and yell. She loves to hear her voice and we love it to!

Lainee's First Christmas

I am finally getting around to posting about Christmas! The weekend before Christmas we went down to Spanish Fork and spent a few days with the Roberts. It was fun to spend a few days there and go to Christmas parties. I even learned how to knit! Zac had to work on Christmas eve and Christmas morning, so it was kindof a different year. Thank goodness for technology, because I was able to be on webcam with my family for all of the festivities that evening and morning. It was almost like I was there! Then they were able to come down Christmas afternoon and spend the afternoon with us. We all got very spoiled and we are so thankful to everyone! It was the year of the kitchen as we got new pots and pans and dishes and I love them all! We also got a painting from our brother-in-law, Josh, to go over our couch. That wall has been empty for too long and the painting is amazing! Thanks Josh- we love it!!!
Lainee got some new pacifiers, a cute dress that I couldn't resist, some new toys, a glow worm, which she adores, and a jumper, which she is going to love! She also got a Cabbage Patch doll, which was my first Christmas present. It's the 25th anniversary edition, so its the same ones they had when I got mine! The hat in the top picture is from her aunt Shayna, she looks so cute in it!
Thanks to everyone who made this holiday season great! It was wonderful to spend so much time with our families!

Lainee can now officially roll over!!! She is rolling from her back to her tummy all of the time now! Sometimes she will get from her tummy back onto her back, but most of the time she just cries so I put her back and then it starts all over! My little girl is growing up so fast. Everybody warned me, but it is so true. She will be three months old next week! I guess it really is true- time flies when you are having fun!

Blessing Day

Lainee was blessed on December 6, 2009 and what a great day it was! Thank you to all of our friends and family who made the day so wonderful. Lainee is so loved and we appreciate every single one of you! We had a luncheon before church at Aunt Kathy and Uncle K's (thank you, thank you, thank you!). Thanks also to both grandmas for all of their help in getting everything ready!
Zac gave Lainee a wonderful blessing. How blessed we are to have the priesthood in our home. What a neat experience it was to hear the words that our Heavenly Father had just for our precious little girl. I am so thankful to Him for her.
We love you Lainee!
